Sunseeker owner Robert Braithwaite cut the ribbon on a new model at the London International Boat Show, a Sports Cruiser called the Portofino 48, correcting himself with a smile after first announcing that it was “48 meters” rather than 48 feet in length. Braithwaite could be excused; the premier British builder’s models have progressively stretched in recent years. But this boat comes back to the mainstream, offering a boat with some of the speed and styling of the Predator performance line, while providing some of the additional accommodation of a motoryacht.
